What is Calculus?Edit

Calculus is one of the main branches of study in the field of mathematics. It focuses on the idea of continuous change, explaining mathematically how curves and shapes change over time. Calculus is broken down into two main categories, differential calculus which looks at instantaneous rate of change and slopes of curves, and integral calculus which looks at the accumulation of quantities and areas under and between curves.
